Pipe welder/bridge ironworker (Carroll County)
Currently looking the right person for the following job: Foreman/Welder/Ironworker/Fabricator/Pipe fitter/Millright
Must have at least 5 years in the bridge construction trade as an ironworker/welder, 5 years experience in steam heating systems and high pressure pipe welding/fitting, 5 years of fabrication shop experience. Any experience with railroad related work would be a plus. Millright or mechanic experience is a plus.
If you do not having a AWS D1.5 Bridge Cert and a ASME Sec 9 6G pipe cert in carbon and stainless please do not respond. If you have a API 1104 cert that would be a plus.
The ideal person should be able to operate all typical fabrication shop equipment when not doing field work. Must be able to operate telehander and mast forklifts.

This is a salary position, but with lots of scale hourly work with scale overtime, (scale work between $37-$63 an hour). There will be a 90 day trial period, with pay increase at the end of 90 days. Our foreman get project completion bonuses on all large jobs. Company truck after 6 months, health insurance after 6 months. There will be required weekend and night work with this position as we provide 24/7 emergence service. Would prefer someone who lives in Frederick or Carroll counties.
